New owner of Inter IKEA Group

The purpose of the two enterprise foundations will be identical, namely to secure independence and longevity of the IKEA Concept and the financial reserves needed to ensure this. Inter IKEA Foundation will focus on governing the IKEA business and secure independence and longevity of the IKEA Concept. Interogo Foundation will focus on governing the investment business and secure the necessary financial reserves.

The demerger will further strengthen business focus and simplify alignment with upcoming regulations. It will enable the two businesses to keep different financial years and to continue operating in a decentralised and efficient way.
