During the past years, Torbjörn has held several Board positions. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors in AB Electrolux and Husqvarna AB. Furthermore, Torbjörn is a board member in Essity AB and AB Blåkläder. He is also an advisory board member of the Re:arc institute.
Torbjörn lives in Älmhult and has more than 30 years of IKEA experience, having held several leading positions within the company across the value chain. He was the CEO and member of the Management Board of Inter IKEA Group from 2016 to 2020, Inter IKEA Systems from 2013 to 2016 and Managing Director for IKEA of Sweden from 2007 to 2013. He was also Chairman of the Board in several IKEA Group companies between 2013 and 2020.
